COVID-19 contract amendments and advice

Our aim is to provide our guests with a safe and enjoyable holiday.  Following a risk assessment conducted in line with the Covid-19 safety guidance issued from HM Government, please carefully read the following advise and amendments to our Booking Contract.  Our aim is to offer protection to our guests and our cleaning team.

These are unprecedented times and whilst we will endeavour to make your stay safe, we request that you sign and return this document prior to your arrival.  This is to confirm that you have read the information, understand the contents and agree to comply.  Confirmation is also required that you take full responsibility for undertaking a holiday at Woodland Barn.

Our responsibility to you

Please note that before you arrive our cleaning team will have provided a sanitisation clean using the latest in technology (Commercial Bio-Misting machine) and a powerful 100% natural broad spectrum biocide in Citrox^TM.  This means that the whole property has been misted from top to toe and actively had any viral load present reduced by up to 99.9998% effectiveness.

This product is proven to kill a wide range of viruses (including coronaviruses) and is accredited to both EN14476 (Chemical disinfectants and antiseptics – Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of viricidal activity in the medical area), and EN13727 (Chemical disinfectants and antiseptics. Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of bactericidal activity in the medical area).

In addition to this pre-clean task, we have taken the decision to invest in the CitroxProtect^TM surface coating product which provides all hard surfaces with a semi-permanent (6 months) seal against viruses.

Please be assured that ALL hard surfaces including; key-safe and key, door handles (including cupboards, fridge dishwasher etc), taps, toilet fittings, kitchen surfaces and small electrical appliances, light switches, remote controls have all been cleaned, sealed and protected with CitroxProtect^TM.

This service is fully certified, and a copy of the certificate is displayed in the kitchen of Woodland Barn.
